John Burge CPA
I'm a Northern California guy, born and raised. I grew up north of Redding in Central Valley (now Shasta Lake City) and moved permanently to Chico in 1972. When I'm not wearing my CPA hat, I enjoy archaeology (and am a professional registered archaeologist), hiking, fishing, basketball, softball, volleyball, movies, travel, and reading (mostly novels).
Experience
I have practiced accounting since 1970. I was certified in 1975 and opened my private practice in 1980. I presently serve over 400 clients including farmers, real estate agents, investors, attorneys, graphic artists, teachers, retired folks, and more. I take pride in offering a one-on-one approach with clients. I am always current with tax law changes and promise to get my clients the best possible tax results.
